Whipworm \Whip"worm`\, n. [So called from its shape.] (Zool.) A nematode worm (Trichocephalus dispar) often found parasitic in the human intestine. Its body is thickened posteriorly, but is very long and threadlike anteriorly. [1913 Webster]
