from the leafstalks of two kinds of palms, Metroxylon Sagu,

for making cordage. Called also ejoo.

palm trees, but chiefly from the Metroxylon Sagu; also from
several cycadaceous plants (Cycas revoluta, Zamia
integrifolia, etc.).
